Christmas at home

Perusing the loot.
Jacob's present from Santa.

Emily's Present from Santa.

Their present from Grammy and Aunt Tonya. Yes, the trampoline is wet and it was cold, they only stayed a couple of minutes.
Nope the dates on the pictures are correct. Andy had to work from 7 am to 7 pm Christmas Eve and Christmas Day so we waited until the day after to have Christmas (the kids didn't have a clue).
I truly have the best kids. The trampoline was bought on black Friday (the day after thanksgiving). Andy and I brought it in and put it against a wall in our bedroom with a comforter over it. When Emily asked what was in the box I told her it was a present for someone and not to bother it. Jacob climbed on it to turn the bedroom light on numerous times but never looked. On Christmas day Mom and Tonya were going to come over and set it up while we were gone to Mom and Dad Bohman's home. So Andy pulled it into the kitchen and I recovered it. When Emily woke up she asked what it was and I told her she would find out tomorrow and don't touch it. Jacob sat on the box and ate breakfast and lunch. Neither child ever looked under the comforter and they were both so surprised on our "Christmas Day". I don't think I will be able to get Jacob to mind that well when he is 4 but for now he follows Emily's lead.
