Coupons Coupons Coupons

Oh my goodness, I have been trying to save money by using coupons and let me tell you it takes work. I have read a lot of blogs on how to effectively use them and this is what I ended up with today.

  • Walmart

Kotex Pantiliners - $1.00 - 1.00 coupon = Free

Arm & Hammer Essentials Cleaners Starter Kit - $2.74 - 1.00 coupon = 1.74 - 2.74 Mail in Rebate = Free + 1.00

  • Kroger

Michelina's Authentico Entres - $.98 on sale for .88 x 5 = 4.40 - 5 for 1.00 coupon = 3.45 for 5 or .68 each

Yoplait Yogurt - $.64 on sale for .50 x 3 = 1.50 - 3 for .60 coupon = .90 for 3 or .30 each
Yoplait Yogurt - $.64 on sale for .50 x 3 = 1.50 - 3 for .60 coupon = .90 for 3 or .30 each

I forgot to put the Grands in the picture but I got 2
Pillsbury Grands - $2.11 on sale for 1.00 - .35 coupon doubled = .30
Pillsbury Grands - $2.11 on sale for 1.00 - .35 coupon doubled = .30

  • CVS

Bic Soeil System Razor - $6.99 on sale for 5.99 - 4.00 ECB = 1.99 - 2.00 coupon = Free + .01

Always Infinity - $4.98 - 4.98 ECB = Free

Colgate Max Fresh Toothpaste - $2.99 - 2.00 ECB = .99 - 1.00 coupon = Free + .01

Lady Speed Stick Deodorants - $1.99 - 1.00ECB = .99 - .50 coupon = .49

TOTAL: I spent $16.30 before tax for at regular price and without coupons and rebates $33.65 worth of goods and I have $10.98 in ECB for CVS so it is really like I only spent $5.32.

Not too bad for my first try.

The ECB is Extra Care Buck, basically a store coupon for the amount listed.
