Emily's first official 4K field trip

We went to an owl presentation at the Ruth Patrick Science Center (RPSC). It was a lot of fun and she listened and remembered what she heard. They talked about owls in general, the 3 owls that are common in our area, and they even got do dig through owl poop. They had to look at the bones in the poop and using a handout of bones decide what the owl had eaten. Emily's group had mouse bones.
I know she paid attention and remembered because a couple of days latter Andy's hair was sticking up on the sides of his head and Emily in a surprised voice said "Daddy your hair has tufts". One of the owls in our area has ear tufts, they don't really have anything to do with the ears, the ears are lower than the tufts but she remembered.
