Soil Study at the Audubon

The kids went to the Audubon Center for a soil study field trip.  They started out in the class room learning about soil types. Then out they went.   

 They were looking at a hill that had been dug out to show the different layers of soil.

Then they broke into groups of 3 and they got to take their own soil samples, sift them, and record their data.
